Who Am I?

90’s, Millennial

DINK

Started with a whole lot of debt and with no idea of managing money, let alone investing.

At My Worst

At my worst in 2018, I was living pay check to pay check, with barely any money in my account, always stressed, and was stuck in a negative spiral mentally and emotionally.

Getting My Life Back

After discovering Dave Ramsey, I finally learned to take control of my life again. Managing budgets, learning (and falling in love with) spreadsheets, investing, etc.

I was finally getting some breathing room.

Tough Lessons

I fell victim to many financial scams due to my naivety and impatience early on.

They were very painful lessons to experience.

However, I wouldn’t change a thing. Those lessons got me to where I am today, stronger both mentally and emotionally.

My risk tolerance is now crazy high within rational reason.

I am now better prepared for decades of boringness.

Graduating From Dave Ramsey

After consuming lots more personal financial content, experimenting different styles, and most important of all, just reflecting on my own personality, I learned that Dave Ramsey’s style was just not meant for me.

I can tolerate debt. Credit Cards are wonderful in my eyes.

Sacrificing lifestyle quality to reduce a debt for very little financial benefit does not make me happy.
